DO YOU PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION TO DOCTORS’ APPOINTMENTS?
We provide transportation to many local physicians’ offices located on our resident-only bus loop. For physician offices not located on our loop, we can offer some alternative solutions to assist you with your transportation to your medical appointments.
ARE ANY PERSONAL CARE SUPPLIES OR OTHER TOILETRIES PROVIDED?
Yes, essential personal care supplies such as soap and paper products are provided at no additional charge, while other toiletries are available for purchase. However, Fountain View is centrally located in the heart of Philadelphia, so there is no shortage of local shops or online shopping delivery services.
WILL SOMEONE ASSIST ME OR MY LOVED ONE TO THE DINING ROOM?
Yes, our employees are happy to assist residents to and from the dining room no matter their mobility needs.
DO YOU HAVE NURSES ON STAFF?
Yes, in addition to Personal Care Assistants, nurses are on-site 24 hours, 7 days a week.
HOW MANY RESIDENTS LIVE HERE?
We can accommodate 263 residents in Independent Living, 77 residents Personal Care and 14 residents in Memory Care, as well as 100 residents in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation.
WHAT TYPE OF TRAINING DOES YOUR STAFF RECEIVE?
Fountain View employees follow personalized learning plans on a training platform that uses digital assessments and tracks performance that measures specified knowledge on resident-centered care. Topics range from fire safety, assistance with activities of daily living, first aid, and medication administration for those that qualify.

ARE OVERNIGHT GUESTS ALLOWED?
Yes, as long as we have availability and are notified in advance. All guests are asked to sign in and out of the community so that we can ensure the safety of all residents and guests. At all times, the facility should be made aware of anyone in the building so authorities can be notified if there’s an emergency.
ARE RESIDENTS ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES?
Yes, our Life Enrichment team encourages all residents and reminds them to participate in activities/programs of interest to the resident.
HOW DO I FIND OUT INFORMATION ABOUT DAILY ACTIVITIES FOR ME OR MY LOVED ONE?

ARE RELIGIOUS SERVICES OFFERED ON-SITE?
There are several options available, but you need to check the calendar for dates and locations, including Catholic communion, rosary and confessions, non-denominational Bible and prayer groups, as well as Jewish services.
IS HOUSEKEEPING OFFERED?
Yes. Housekeeping is included at no additional charge.
ARE LAUNDRY SERVICES OFFERED?
Yes, Laundry is included.
DO YOU PROVIDE CABLE TV AND WI-FI?
We provide basic cable but wi-fi or additional cable packages are the responsibility of residents.
ARE VISITORS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME, OR ARE THERE SPECIFIC VISITING HOURS?
Visiting hours for family and friends are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but most families visit between the hours of 8am and 8pm.
